In another listener request, today’s episode covers the long and bloody history of the Chesapeake Bay oyster wars, when the tongers fought the dredgers and the Virginia oystermen fought the ones from Maryland, and a governor in office led late-night aquatic raids against pirates.

Here’s the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch site, which came up at the end of the episode, where you can see whether your seafood is sustainable.

Our listener mail is from Spencer, who wrote us an actual paper letter, who tells us about Boudica camp following our Boudica episode.
